The latest addition to Brandon’s guitar arsenal is the 3-tone Sunburst Telecaster. This is a custom shop Telecaster and took 6 months to build! It can do about every tone Tele-lover would want!
Other guitars in the current lineup would include his go-to guitar, the “butterscotch” Fender Telecaster Hot Rod 52′ Reissue. While he has always gravitated to the sound of Telecasters, he has recently been playing two crunchy Gibson Les Paul’s as well. His favorite of the Les Paul guitars is the 74′ Sunburst.
“This guitar can be clean, crunchy, dark and dirty, or even brash if you turn the knobs and set the amp right.”
His other current Les Paul is a 2010 model with pickups in place for more of an alternative, heavier rock sound. Brandon’s current amplifier is a red Dr. Z Prescription Extra Strength. With an aggressive “type A” amp, it pairs up with Brandon’s aggressive finger-style playing really well!
